What's the pricing model of Typora?

Typora's Full License is granted to "user", it can be activated on at most 3 devices of one person for one license without expire time.

You will have 15 days to evaluate Typora for free before purchase a license code, and we promise a 30 days money refund from evaluation starts.

How to activate Typora?

On macOS version, click TyporaMy License… from menubar, on Windows / Linux version, click HelpMy License… from menubar. Then you can click Enter License button in the popped up license panel, and input email and license code.

How to make a quote / purchase order?

How to use coupon?

After click purchase button, in the payment screen, you can paste your coupon code in to the text input with the title / placeholder "Coupon Code" inside it. And remember to click "Apply" button right after it. The price will get updated after you apply coupons.

How to use my currency (USD, RMB, etc…) ?

After click purchase button, please select your country / region to continue. Changing region will lead to the change of currency, tax, and therefore the final price will be slightly different.

Then, in the payment screen, you can still click the right top dropdown button to switch languages and currency.

I already paid, but it says the order is unpaid, and no emails received?

If you already paid, you don't need to do anything, you should receive the license code right away. But in some cases the process may be delayed, please just wait for a few minutes, and later the order will be complete and success. If you still do not receive any emails after 30 min, please contact support@2checkout.com.

How to purchase multiple licenses?

You can click the "+" button or click the product count ("x1") number above the purchase button to edit product numbers you want to buy.

Also, on the payment screen, you can click the "cart" icon and then modify the product count.

Is there bulk license or license for organizations?

We currently do not offer bulk license (one license code that can activate large amount of devices), if you have many users who wants to use Typora, you will need to buy multiple licenses for them.

You can refer How to purchase multiple licenses ? to purchase number of licenses based on your organizations, one license code can be used for one user on at most 3 devices. If one user has more than 3 devices, you will need to buy extra licenses for him / her.

I cannot activate Typora?

You will need network connection for the activation, and once you activated with one license code, same email address must be used when you activate on other devices with the same license code.

How many devices is supported for one license?

One license can activate at most 3 devices at one time for one user.

If you use two or more user accounts on one machine, you will need to activate them separately since we sell 'per-user' license.

If you use different operating systems or VMs on one machine, you will need to activate them separately since they do not share config between each system.

If you uses Typora on more than 3 machines, please purchase more licenses. You can deactivate existing Typora installations if you switch machines or reinstall Typora.

How to retrieve my license key if I forgot it?

One license key is sent to your email address after the purchase, so you could just search it in your mail box and check spam if you could not find them.

If you purchased Typora on our website (typora.io), then the license code delivered via 2Checkout or FastSpring, and you can find your orders and license code at here for FastSpring and here for 2Checkout with the mail address you used for purchase.

If you purchase Typora from other distributor, please contact them instead.

How to get invoice?

If you purchased Typora on our website (typora.io), then the invoice is delivered via 2Checkout or FastSpring, and you can find the invoice from links in the mail send to your email inbox after the purchase, if no email received in your mailbox, please contact support@2checkout.com.

If you purchase Typora from other distributor, please contact them instead.

For customers in China, to get invoice for reimbursement, please purchase from our resellers in China.

Can I refund after the payment?
